I am a Graphic Designer and Illustrator from the Twin Cities, Minnesota. I grew up with a pencil in hand, drawing anywhere and everywhere I could. Although I was initially discouraged from my artistic tendencies and sent to engineering school, I could not be kept from the creative world for long and ran to earn my A.A. degree in Visual Communications at Brown College.

Graphic design is my passion and goal in life. In my opinion, learning the relevant programs and software is a proportionately small part of the battle, one must have a firm grasp over the principles and elements of design to be truly successful. I strive to continually improve my skills so that I can create design that is both visually appealing and mentally engaging on many different levels.

I would like to experience many different design jobs throughout my career as a graphic designer. I realize that the design world is so very broad, and that there are so many different venues to explore! I do however hope to someday specialize in stylized illustration and typographic design.
