Comments and questions about this Project

Hi, I've just pitched on your ident project and I'm also very interested in this one.

Before I pitch I'd just like to check that the budget is correct. You're offering up to £400 for 10 seconds of animation, so shouldn't 60 seconds be worth £2400?

Although the budget for this project is £250 more, most of that will be spent on the voice-over. If this budget is correct then you're offering practically the same fee for six times the work.

My two cents for Richard:

Idents should be more complex compared to intro videos. A company would use an ident more often then a intro video since it would be introducing all their videos and the intro video would just be stuck on their website when not everyone watches those. So I'd say the budget isn't that bad specially if you win both pitches, you might be recycling the idea or artwork anyways to fit both, so it's not just a simple 6x just cause of the length.

Hiya,
Looks like you have a script already, so perhaps you could share it here? From the brief to provide 'some engaging animation' it sounds like you're looking for a more character-based animation as opposed to the abstract nature of bookend idents - is this the case? Quite a different skillset, potentially - it makes little sense to have ident-style abstract (convey a brand in 5 secs) with a voiceover carrying information!

Thanks

3 Days for a deadline which refers to a 60 second animation??:(
Good design is not a fast food service....Needs must be equal to time given//
Sorry but i had to post my thoughts...

Antonis Zagoraios, I think you misunderstood.

You have to submit your pitch within 3 days, it's the pitch deadline. The project deadline itself or the "Time required" can be chosen when submitting the pitch.

Ok.
My mistake then//I apologize...

Antonis, we all make mistakes ;-)

Actually Wooshii is going to revamp a lot of how these screens look and work, so it may be clearer in the new versions, fingers crossed!

Hey. I wanted to give a pitch, but it looks like the deadline is based on UK time, not US. time. Is there a way I can send in a pitch?
