Gray Star Media is Melissa O'Connor. Brooklyn born and Jersey raised she has studied art her whole life. In 2006 she graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from New Jersey City University. Since then she has gained professional experience working with photographers and other artists as well as textile design and children's artwork. Freelancing for the past 4 years she has worked her way around the NY area designing various logo's, websites and identity. In December of 2009 she started Scribbles and Doodles where she offers custom book design.

Melissa also has a shop on etsy, gray star design, where she sells her hand made creations and art prints. She resides in Bethpage, NY with her boyfriend, Dan Arena and dog Olive.
