I'm back with our 3rd round of the Pro Interview series.
This time we have the honour to have Victor Navone, a Pixar animator who has worked on several Oscar winning films, like Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and Wall-E.
Having worked on Cars, he also directed a short related to it and several TV episodes from that property. For more details, check his IMDB page, here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1015333/
How long were you animating before getting a job at pixar? Was it hard to get accepted, and get a job? How important was education in your resume? What would be the best "next-step" for someone like me?
Would you like at some point in your career to work again in videogames design? What part did you take in animation in the movie "Monsters Inc."? What is the your favorite character you've worked so far? Do you think it was unfair for "Happy Feet" to win the Oscar in the year "Cars" was also nominated? :P
were you self taught? did you attend an animation college? whats your favorite software of choice? do you stick with mainly 3d or 2d? do you still do animations as a hobby outside of work just for fun? do you still freelance even though you have a job? what other skills do you have or want to pick up in the future?

He has had a very interesting career (http://www.navone.org/HTML/AboutMe.htm) and what landed him the Pixar job was the short Alien Song (see below).
Get your questions ready and by June 6th we will submit the top 10 to him.
