I can understand why the current process is designed for artists, but there really needs to be alternate ways you can upload a "viral" to your portfolio. Coders like myself don't have our projects on video and prefer to utilize links to our work (similar the the way uploaded videos have their own page would be ideal).
Is there a way this could be implemented? It's hard attracting views when you're just picture and a name.
Hi Matt, thanks for your comments. It's always been our intention to support a wide range of different viral content, including links to other websites, viral microsites, games etc.
We started with video as it's generally seen as the most common form of viral content, but we are adding new functionality to the site all the time, and the ability to add different types of virals is something that we've been discussing for a while.
