Hi guys, I really need some help. The program is Flash CS3. The problem seems so basic, but I am still not seeming to understand it. I made a flash landing page video slideshow for a client, and it looks great, problem is that it is too big, way too big. It takes ages to load. So I was looking for a way to just make one video play, then the next, then loop back again with a loading screen. I still do not fully understand how to make streaming video and I have a lot to learn about actionscript. The goal is to make five videos play one after the other, load quickly for the user, or at least begin playing before it is fully loaded, and then I would also like to learn how to make it easier to edit out the clips later on. Any help would REALLY be appreciated, even maybe tutorial links or something. Thanks guys,
If you use a preloader to only load the frames the video is on, then have another one at the end of that loading the next frames the other video is on and so on and so on it might work.
Yeah I know that, I have a preloader for the whole file, I just can't figure out how to load only what I want. I have the flash bible but I cant find anything on that. The file is 8MB, I found a way to make the file smaller by shortening the clips and lowering quality a bit, but i would still really like to figure this out in the future. Original file looks like this
