i need some help converting my flash files to formats like .mov or .avi i try do it via flash but the quailty is not very good if any one can offer any help on what i could do to convert my swf files in to other formats that wooshii and youtube suport or know any cheap software i can buy. if you can help i will bo sooooooo thankful
Hi Luke, you might like to know that Wooshii's media player will soon be supporting swf files so that you can show off your Flash work in its full vectorised glory!
I realise that doesn't answer your question but I thought you might be interested to know!
You may still be wanting a video version of your work. So, try to EXPORT MOVIE into an avi. Put it full quality. It may take a while. Now, what you do is take that avi file, and publish to an mpeg video file. This reduces significant file size, while maintaining decent quality for the web.
If you want a software example, try Sony Vegas Pro. It's not cheap, but there is a trial version that can do the job nicely.
what i do is export it as a PNG sequence and compose it in After Effects, then re-export it as a MOV file. Don't use AVI, try to always use MOV, quality will be better.
Flash just can't handle exporting, it usually depends on the amount of filters, movie clips or action script you use in your movie. If you use a lot of movie clips, you're going to have to export each thing as it's own PNG sequence and recompose it in AE, that's what I do.
nothing is working for me D: i can't convert any of my avi's to MOV and i've got nothing to put PNG sequences together with but thanks to every one for helping
