We create Film, Photography and Design work for anyone we find interesting.
Founded by Director / Cinematographer Nick Thompson with a vision to create commercially successful cinematic content across a variety of modern media platforms, Red Rhino Films have worked for some of the most diverse directoral talents in the commercial and music video industry including Joseph Kahn (Love The Way You Lie - Eminem/Rihanna, Womanizer - Britney Spears) and Matt Maude and Left Eye Blind of Academy films.
Nick Thompson studied art and design in the UK and film in Australia, and after leaving film school taught cinematography while being chased by @radicalmedia as a director. His first script while at film school became a Tropfest film festival finalist film and his first foray in commercial filmmaking was directing two spots for the tropfest film festival which were both seen by 500 thousand people in Sydney's domain park before going to television. After leaving Australia His first music video in the UK went straight to tv and as a cinematographer his work was selected for the Turin Film Festival. As a writer he has script edited for a variety of directors and clients including Mercedes Benz.
Joined by creative partner Adam Lyons, whose background in the world of Art and Design and whose skills in Post Production and technical workflow further augment and compliment a formidable creative ethos, Red Rhino Films are about to embark on a major Commercial Campaign to be produced in 2011 and will head the Cinematography dept of a feature film to be shot in Australia in the New Year.
