Since his birth into the Broadcasting, Film, Advertising and Public Relations industry, Owner / Operator of Sauerwein International Studios, Monty Lewis has been Marketing Director / Production Manager at multiple Radio stations, Marketing Director / Production Manager at a full-scale advertising agency/production house, Program Director / Operations Manager at a major market radio station, Promotions Director and Public Service Director at CBS, NBC, and Univision Affiliate stations, Marketing Director / Executive Producer of a large & internationally acclaimed stage show, and Senior Producer / Director at an international television network. As Marketing Director and Production Director, he coordinated sales in order to provide the client with a quality product by personally copywriting, producing and directing television, radio, and print based media.
Monty has served as a professional Radio / TV announcer and on air host with award winning credentials. During his professional career, He has been engaged in public speaking and public relations on a professional level. As a manager for local, national and multi-national companies and as a school teacher for the South Texas school district, He has proven that he is quite capable of teaching and engaging in the growth of others. As a leader in broadcasting and also human rights activities, he has spoken to audiences consisting of tens of thousands and to small classrooms in intimate settings. As an award winning copywriter, journalist and public speaker, his grasp of the English language is immaculate and rich.
He has also written, directed, produced and hosted weekly television programs, such as the popular internationally syndicated TVTV and Tejano Country,aired in such major markets as New York, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, Albuquerque, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, Austin, and even international markets, specifically Mexico. He has also produced and syndicated the television programs CHispanorama, Jubilee with Dr Bill Moore, and Tiempos de Victoria which can now be seen in over 56 countries. As affiliate station liaison, both for TC Television and Radio networks, he was personally responsible for interacting, interfacing, and troubleshooting, ensuring relational continuity in accordance with industry standards.
In each managerial position, working in harmony with each company's CEO, Monty was instrumental in motivating the sales and production staff and increasing company revenue by providing them with sales materials, precise direction, and quality control, ensuring that a maximum standard level of quality was provided to the client in a timely manner. He was essentially the hub for all sales and production activities.
In his position as Senior Producer, he was also on-air host of weekly one-half-hour and one-hour syndicated television shows including Dance Time in Texas and Tejano Country. With his unique personality and talent, he has provided identities to these popular shows, which in turn increased Nielson market share and the overall viewership for these programs.
Monty has produced, directed, managed and promoted artists to better market themselves in English and other language formats thus improving their radio distribution and airplay.
In addition, Monty's talents include writing, producing, and directing, a number of music videos and audio or video projects, including promotion of Stevie Wonder, Tony Bennet, Natalie Cole, Liza Minelli, Gloria Estefan, John Secada, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, George Jones, George Strait, Clint Black, Barbara Mandrell, Dwight Yoakum, Vince Gill, Brooks N Dunn, Garth Brooks, Kenney Chesney, Alabama, Brad Paisley, as well as...
