I like your website a lot. Now that I looked at the detail in that model, I almost wish it wasn't so flatly shaded. Dude, you are a rocking modeler! Zbrush or Mudbox? Kudos man, you are talented. When did you graduate from VFS?

Just graduated in February, right now I'm working on a scholarship project with two other classmates, we're compositing a 3d character onto a short film. We'll be finishing by the end of this month, so I'll probably be posting it later on, once it's done. Before I really melt this time... Thanks for the compliments, I agree with you on the flatly shaded thing, but geometry-wise I tried to keep it as low poly as possible to maintain manageable render times, but yeah, I did test render some of the high-res geo and it looked way better. Next time I'm putting that extra geo in there for sure, after seeing how they pulled it in Avatar... (daydreaming). I'm using Zbrush for detailing, mostly my modeling is done in Maya. I saw your reel on Vimeo, which 3d package are you working on? Any other 3d stuff you've done recently? It was mean to scare your colleague at the office like that, but it's funny to see the buildup all the way to that point... Im sure he must've hated you guys, I would have...
