Iras (born a summer evening of June 25th 1986) is an African rap storyteller who developed the art of composing, writing & producing ever since he created his persona in 1998.

Indeed instead of singing "normal songs" he'd rather create characters, their psyche & thence put them in motion through stories which will be subequently translated into songs.

Iras (born a summer evening of June 25th 1986) is an African rap storyteller who developed the art of composing, writing & producing ever since he created his persona in 1998.

Indeed instead of singing "normal songs" he'd rather create characters, their psyche & thence put them in motion through stories which will be subequently translated into songs.

He believes in the sharing of one's gift for free since he's part of a generation that thinks certain kind of entertainment should be available to the mass for free which made him consequently relinquish his entire discography on different platforms (iTunes, Iras World, etc).

He wants his art to be under the spotlight while the man behind his mask stays in the penumbra which is embodied in his statement "I, as an individual, do not matter only my art does".
